totolzintla_nahuatl04.JPG - San Juan Totolzintla is at the end of the road on the south side of the Rio Balsas. A new bridge and paved road some miles before the town now allows easier access to the villlage. Essencially traditional costume has disapeared from the town and a style of peasant wear has replaced it.
